Two proposals analysis

• firstproposal by toni/ben which we haven't followed. ricardo agreed with modularisation idea, but warned of following Creative Commons concept as possible oversimplification. Richard commented, but didn't object. we even had a page that traced history of the idea, EsfProposal2004, that didn't get included at all in later second proposal. Questions: why such a different second proposal? Shouldn't have second proposal had at least an explanation why was it so different from the first one?

Reply from BenjaminGeer: Because the official ESF proposal (to ask the ESF organisers for the space) was limited to 50 words, and it was impossible to both introduce the project and explain the modular charter idea in 50 words. I kind of thought this was self-explanatory since it's marked "50 words maximum".

ESF 2004 Process analysis

It was a disaster of a process, judging by the amount information in public sphere (mail lists, wikis, websites). We can use our open-org acquired skills to try to analise what happened and what we thought could have been done different.
