Open Organizations

[quick, rough intro]

Addition of following principles to the rIto model would, in our experience, mean embrace of those values that we talked on previous page, and would make such organization open in may ways:

* Organization is open to anyone who agrees with it's objectives
and agrees to participate in it's organizational stucture (charter). (1)

* Sovereign Location for Decision making are email lists.

* All email lists are archived on publicly accesible web pages. (2)

* Coordinators of Functional Elements to write regular summaries.

(1) by charter we mean the complete document that implements both rIto and open oranization models - such document would suffice to form a charter of an ogranization.

(2) This is in order that people get more equal access to information pool from which decisions are made, and are therefore able to participate in decision making, unlimited by geographic location, time or other constraint. As well, such transparency makes organization more accountable and more inclusive, since it is possible for someone external to get a fair overiew of it's history without being at the mercy of cultural capital holders.

-> back to the rIto model

------------------------------
points that seemed to me specific to lwg:

* Decision making (DM) model of rough consensus
* Participation Right in DM based on implementation work
* implementation work model in general
